Hello, I’m Ian, Captain of Carlton Town Nottingham Talk Club. Chuffed to be volunteering as a Captain Always lived in the land of Robin Hood, I’m married with four daughters and a crazy dog. I’m on my own journey with mental fitness, with spells of depression and anxiety. I’ve always been about people, so becoming a Captain felt like the perfect next step – bringing others together to talk. We’ve still a way to go to make it the norm. Music, gigs, books, being outdoors are my hobbies and have found my stride at the gym finally now I’ve passed 50!
