Fundraising
This is the part where you can help give back. As a registered charity, Talk Club relies on the communities it supports so that it can continue to transform the lives of men across the world.
SOUTH WEST COAST PATH CHALLENGE IN MEMORY OF JAMES
6 months ago, Steven lost James – a dear friend, great son, brother and a great person loved by many. In James’ memory, Steven is trekking the 630 miles of South West Coast Path, England’s longest footpath, from Minehead along the coasts of Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset -to Poole Harbour. Walking in weekly stages, he’ll be starting at the end of February and finishing by the end of November.
BANDCAMP FUNDRAISER…
MILES FOR MILES
In May 2019 Miles Christie, a 42-year-old father, son, brother and doctor, took his own life. His death and the deaths of so many men like him remind us of the vital task ahead of us – that of transforming our communities to provide men with safe spaces in which they can talk, share problems and maintain their mental health.
In memory of Miles, we have created a yearly fundraising initiative called Miles for Miles; a dedicated event that in 2021 saw fundraisers take 1 million steps in 7 days and raise over £30,000.
YOUR MILES 2022…
In 2022 the entire month of May will be dedicated to Miles for Miles – raising awareness and money to support the work of Talk Club far and wide. This year we are inviting you to do Miles for your Miles, someone you may have lost to suicide who wants to ensure never has to suffer through anxiety and isolation. Simply download the flyer below to start your journey in raising mental fitness numbers.
