VOLUNTEERS
Join Team Talk Club
Together, we can create a mentally fitter society
Every week, Team Talk Club helps thousands of people feel heard, supported and connected.
You don’t need to be a therapist. You don’t need to have all the answers. You simply need to care about helping people improve their mental fitness.
Together, we’re creating communities where asking, “How are you? Out of 10?” becomes as normal as asking someone how their day has been.
How you can get involved
Become a Talk Club Captain
Our Captains are at the heart of Talk Club.
As a Captain, you’ll lead a Talk & Listen or Talk & Exercise group, creating a safe, confidential and respectful space where everyone has the opportunity to check in, be listened to and leave feeling more mentally fit.
You’ll receive comprehensive training, ongoing support, Talk Club merch and become part of a growing community of volunteers making a real difference every week.
Please note you have to be male and over 18 years of age to become a Captain.

Support Our Events
From charity football matches and community festivals to awareness campaigns and fundraising events, our volunteers help bring Talk Club to life.
Whether you’re welcoming people, talking about Talk Club, helping with set-up or supporting fundraising, every event helps us reach more people.

Fundraise for Talk Club
Every fundraiser helps us reach someone who needs support.
Take on a challenge, organise a community event, run a workplace fundraiser or support one of our campaigns. However you choose to get involved, you’ll be helping us create a mentally fitter society.

When you support someone else, you often strengthen your own mental fitness too.
Volunteer Stories
“Being a Talk Club Captain has given me purpose again. Watching someone walk into a group as a 3 and leave as a 6 reminds me why I volunteer every week.”
— Talk Club Captain
Every member of Team Talk Club has their own reason for getting involved. Some want to give something back. Others have experienced difficult times themselves. Many simply want to help create a world where talking about mental fitness is normal.
We’re proud of every one of them.
