Hi, I’m Andy and I’m a Captain at Talk Club Basingstoke. I’ve always been surrounded by mental issues – think bipolar, suicide, breakdowns, depression and PTSD – with other people but it wasn’t until last year that I suffered my own period of depression caused by trying to be too strong for too long that I realised more could be done to help men’s mental health. This club is my way of moving forward and trying to help other people going thing difficult times in my community along the way.
